Now available: The first 8 books in the exciting new spy novel series featuring Greta Steiner, Dove Abraham, and all the other dubious and interesting characters at EUOPS. Check out her blog today!!!

Book one of the Greta Steiner EUOPs series All the Gold in the World introduces Greta Steiner, a EUOPS, assassin is promoted from a field position to a senior operative position and assigned Dove Abraham a nineteen year old Mossad ex-assassin as an assistant.  They are told to form a team and steal all of the Syrian gold reserves.  Other than being a very determined young woman Greta has absolutely no experience in this type of an operation.  The chairman of the EUOPS operating committee takes her aside and tells her that the task is impossible but to go and make a valiant effort and then fail.  It becomes apparent that there is a political battle going on in the European Union about stealing the Syrian gold and that someone is trying desperately to cover up something.  When it looks like Great and her team will succeed in stealing some gold they are labeled rogue and kill on sight by EUOPS while someone is making deliberate leaks to the Syrians to compromise the mission and make Greta and her team everyone’s target.  To further complicate the situation Greta and Dove realize they are falling in love.

In book two, And None Shall Remain, EUOPS headquarters calls Greta Steiner the new EUOPS Southern Area Supervisor at her office in Cairo to have her check on why the shadow in a ninth floor apartment window hundreds of miles away is not moving. She uses one of the new Whirlygig drones her office is testing to take a look.  What she sees is an assassin with a computer controlled long gun getting ready to shoot someone at an international conference on limiting Iran’s nuclear ambitions.  The assassin runs leaving behind only a few pictures and a fingerprint. When Greta and her team investigate they discover that someone in Egypt is in the market for an atomic bomb and appear to have the money to pay for it.  This is puzzling since everyone knows buying one atomic bomb is a national death sentence if you ever use it because one of the neighbors will immediately send you half a dozen more for free.  The logical conclusion is terrorists because they don’t have a country to bomb in retaliation, but they also don’t have the money to buy a bomb.  When Greta notifies EUOPS headquarters about what she’s found out she is told to set down, shut up, and join in an operation where everyone is double-crossing everyone else.

The third book of the series is In Darker Dungeons and Despair. It’s a bit different and lets you meet two new characters Robert Glencollen III and Aerial Thomas. They don’t know each other, other than what is in the papers, but end up together pretending to be married after a series of coincidences that are so unreasonable that they could only be true, but they aren’t. Get ready for a wild escape by ambulance and a shoot out in the deserts of Iraq. W

Book four, And There Is Always Time is a real puzzle. How do you steal a ship and then make it disappear without a trace. No ship, no wreckage, no oil slick, nothing. A bunch of rag tag Somali pirates steal a ship and it just disappears in one night. It’s just a junky little coastal steamer and the crew has been put in a lifeboat and survived so it is hardly an earth shattering problem, right? Did I forget to mention that the ship is carrying two Chinese made copies of Russian cruse missiles armed with multi megaton hydrogen bombs that the Americans stole from Russia and that are being furnished to Saudi Arabia to change the balance of power in the mideast. No one even knows how to start on this problem and the whole EUOPS crew go into overdrive before someone decides to see if the missiles and the war heads work agains some one like say Israel.

Book five, They That Dwell in Darkness starts with a little girl lying behind a rock in a cave in a village that has been taken over by the rebels. She had been found hiding in the Christian church by a group of rebels planting bombs and booby traps. One of the men had started to rape her but had been told there wasn’t time so he had hit her in the back of the head with a rifle butt. When she came to she was in the cave behind the rock after an attack by a helicopter had killed everyone in the cave but her. A man in a British combat uniform was kneeling over her giving her a drink and she had said the only English sentence she knew “Colonel Horace Meriwether Babington Smyth, serial number 7866736. Please help me.” This sentence identifying General Babington Smyth sets off a chain of events to find the heir to the title of the Dutches Cavingham, Baroness of Olingham and Warborn. The search involves the whole British military, the English Royal Court, and EUOPS as they try to find probably the most important little lost child in the world and save her.

Book six, The Birds of Morning, follows four little girls running away from a forced marriage to a pedophile and straight to the construction site of a secret forbidden nuclear reactor and weapons plant in the remote desert. The great white bird that is following them is a secret solar powered extreme altitude glider controlled by EUOPS from a base in England. When EUOPS finally realizes that they have found a secret nuclear plant that is a threat to world peace being built in violation of agreements and treaties they are faced with a bunch of problems. First how do you attack a target in the middle of a desert in the middle of a foreign country that is guarded by troops, and planes and also constantly protected by the latest radar and surveillance equipment? Then how do you destroy a whole construction site and make it look like and accident? Finally how do you do it and also rescue four little girls at the same time?

Book seven, For We Are All Betrayed, Focuses on a world that stands on the brink of annihilation as nuclear tensions reach a fever pitch. Nuclear weapons, once considered the ultimate deterrent, have become a treacherous gift that threatens the very existence of all nations. With each country already possessing enough nuclear power to unleash a global catastrophe why would anyone bother stealing another one knowing their use ensures mutual destruction? But someone has. At the same time the bomb is stollen a new biological weapon plot that could cause millions of deaths is discovered. As two chilling scenarios unfold simultaneously, an unlikely alliance becomes humanity’s last hope. The covert organization known as EUOPS races against time as Greta Steiner, a brilliant spy, joins forces with Marta Popov, a former Russian ballet dancer with more to offer than meets the eye. As a mysterious caravan winds through the desert, it carries a chilling ultimatum: and atomic bomb, parked at the doorstep of a small but oil rich nations’s capital. The bomb is booby-trapped, ready to obliterate the city if disturbed – an not-so-subtle threat from a coalition of powerful aggressor nations.

Faced with the ultimatum to surrender sovereignty, the nation’s fate rests in the unlikely hands of a disgraced princess, now a fugitive, and an army of resolute women warriors from Seghmet – a shadowy global organization championing women’s rights. This group, omnipresent yet headquartered nowhere, embodies the spirit of resistance.
